It’s Haiku Day!
Today participants in the WordCount blogathon are encouraged to write a haiku. Mine is about the day I just had.

Coincidentally, last year I went on a field trip on haiku day as well. I think today’s went marginally better than that one.
I’m excited about tomorrow’s guest post, as it is from my very own husband. He’s going to tell you some things you may not know about me, unless you’re related to me, or maybe some kind of creepy stalker.

I like it! And glad you survived the field trip.
Oh, I SO know what you mean! It got so I loved it when my kids started asking me NOT to go on field trips with them.
I have a 5th grader, so I get it. Loved the Haiku. I could easily manipulate it slightly to be my life:

Love the post!
I can’t wait for tomorrow’s post. I hope I can sleep tonight.
Love it! A couple of weeks ago I found “Baseball Haiku” at the library, a collection of American and Japanese haiku poets that sparked lots of interest in our baseball home. This is from Japanese poet Hoshino Tsunehiko, who seems to have visited my front yard:

Thanks, y’all.
Jill, I will light a candle for you. I just read his post and set it to publish at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. I should not let you people know this much about me.
That’s fantastic, Lisa!
Looking forward to tomorrow

this was too funny- you had me laughing!! (the haiku had me laughing)
Looking forward to your husband’s guest post.
Haiku … field trips. Just what is the cosmic connection? A great mom and a great Haiku writer. What more could your husband possibly reveal? Can’t wait to find out!
