Our recycling shelf
This is the shelf where we put our recyclables after emptying them and before taking them all outside to the bin.
Yes, I know what you’re thinking. Eggs have a lot of cholesterol. We’re trying to cut back.

Harp & cream soda–great taste!
I needed this today. Thanks for a good chuckle, Tara.
Gotta try me some Harp Lager. I wonder if it would help swollen eyelids.
We have a recycling box in our kitchen that we take down and dump into the big apartment recycling bin. Right now the contents have grown and multiplied like little rats, spilling out onto the floor. Definitely not picture-worthy. But yours did remind me I need to buy some more beer and wine.
Actually, you should be happy to know that eggs are not as bad as we’ve been sold. The protein in eggs outweighs the cholesterol. I learned that from the nutritionist my BF’s been working with post open-heart surgery. If you ate two eggs a week, you wouldn’t suffer for it. So keep eating your eggs. I love them hardboiled.
I was so excited to see your post after reading smart-alecky picture, and you did not disappoint. Love it!!
That is so funny. We used to have a recycling window sill. it was bad. And I agree with Jackie, eggs are a great high protein, filling, lowish calorie (only 70) snack/meal!
The eggs concern me less than the soup can lined with BPA and the jug of cranberry juice that no doubt contains genetically modified high fructose corn syrup. Come on, Tara. Get it together.
I wish our recycling looked this tidy. I think we produce this much in just a few hours.
Nice to be able to go to bed with a great big grin on my face
…loved this post!!
